The Park Ridge Art League has thrived for over fifty years in the northwest suburbs. It is a culmination of the art tradition that was in Park Ridge from the beginning of the 20th century. It unites artists of all media and gives them voice, place and an opportunity to learn. On the weekend of June 16th and 17th of 2012, the Park Ridge Art League will host its 60th annual art fair. The purpose of the show is to promote the appreciation and sale of fine art, and raise money for our scholarship fund. Each year the Art League awards scholarships to graduating art students at Maine East and Maine South High Schools. The project, to advertise the Art Fair and its 60th anniversary, will bring this cultural and historic event to the attention of the community.
