A fond farewell after 20 years...

Diddy Blyth, President--"At the last PRCAC Board meeting the officers carefully and thoughtfully again reviewed our 20 year old mission statement and unanimously voted to dissolve the PRCAC efforts.  Our mission has outlived its life.  It is so very difficult to find volunteers to raise funds, mount projects and keep the community informed of our needs and deeds.  So many parents have huge requests of their time - job, kids, life!  Adding one more thing, no matter how gratifying and wonderful, is just not possible.  Therefore, our last grants will be the Youth Arts Summer Camp Scholarships for 2018 and the last sponsored event will be the Student Showcase on May 19th after awarding our Fine Art Camp scholarships.  Please do join us for that event and allow us to say good-bye!"

Creating a dynamic arts community...

Who are we?

The Park Ridge Cultural Arts Council (PRCAC) has worked toward the active enrichment, promotion and financial support of the performing, visual, and literary arts in the Park Ridge community since 1997.  We do this by providing grants and scholarships, sponsoring events, and promoting connections and collaborations between arts organizations.  To date, PRCAC has provided over $100,000 in grants and scholarships in Park Ridge.  (Click here for history.)

Who do we serve?

PRCAC supports Park Ridge arts organizations such as: Park Ridge Mural Restoration Committee, Park Ridge Chorale, Chicago Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra (St. Luke’s Lutheran Church), Park Ridge Art League, Kalo Foundation, District 64 Schools, St. Paul of the Cross, Mary Seat of Wisdom, St. Andrews, Maine South and Maine East High Schools, and others.
